Aluminium oxide — the workhorse oxide ceramic. Hard, wear-resistant, electrically insulating, chemically inert and stable to 1750 °C. Densities and purities from 95% up to 99.99% Al₂O₃.
Controlled-porosity aluminium oxide — engineered open or closed porosity for filtration, support media, gas diffusion and high-thermal-shock service.
High thermal conductivity electrical insulator. AlN approaches metal-level heat transfer while remaining dielectric — the specifier's choice for power-electronics substrates.
Excellent thermal-shock resistance and non-wetting to molten aluminium. Reaction-sintered Al₂TiO₅ removes the preheat step from non-ferrous casting.
Self-lubricating, easily machined, non-wetting to molten metals. Hexagonal BN combines excellent electrical insulation with high thermal conductivity — "white graphite".
Outstanding thermal-shock resistance from a very low expansion coefficient. The proven specification for kiln furniture and catalyst supports operating through rapid temperature cycling.
Near-zero thermal expansion and outstanding thermal-shock resistance. Porous electrofused silica handles repeated thermal cycling and direct molten-metal contact without preheating.
Aluminosilicate ceramic stable to 1700 °C with low thermal expansion. A versatile workhorse for high-temperature service where thermal shock matters.
Chemically pure, optically clear, dimensionally stable. Fused quartz combines extreme hardness, low expansion and broad optical transmission from UV to IR.
Extreme thermal conductivity and shock resistance with non-wetting behaviour to molten metals — the high-performance choice for kiln furniture and melt-handling.
Cost-effective magnesium silicate insulator. Excellent dielectric strength and dimensional stability to 1000 °C — the volume-production choice for electrical insulation.
High strength industrial ceramic with excellent hardness properties, fracture toughness, and corrosion resistance.

Good all round service and support
Selecting the right industrial ceramic material is critical when performance, reliability and safety are on the line.

Yes. Our distributor model means we are comfortable with prototype runs and small batches, with the option to scale into production volumes through the same supplier relationships.
Choosing the right ceramic material or grade depends on a wide range of variables — from operating temperature and mechanical demands to electrical properties, chemical environment, and dimensional tolerances. With so many factors at play, it’s rarely a straightforward decision.
The best starting point is to talk to our technical team. We’ll work with you to understand your specific application and recommend the most suitable option for your needs.
Yes. Anderman Céramiques operates in France with a native French commercial team, French-language datasheets and technical advisory.
Anderman is ISO 9001 quality-management certified and Cyber Essentials certified. Material certificates of conformity are supplied with every order.
